Class Representatives Unite: Strengthening the Fabric of Fellowship

On a recent afternoon, ALI SA Class Representatives gathered for a lunch with Stace Lindsay, where they engaged in a thought-provoking discussion on the “Meaning of Fellowship.” This moderated conversation explored the heart of what it means to be part of the ALI SA network, uncovering themes that resonated deeply with all present.

The discussion highlighted the sense of belonging, culture and identity that defines our fellowship. It underscored the common values and collaboration that drive us to build a better society. Fellows spoke of deep connections, companionship, camaraderie, and community, emphasising that we are on a shared journey together towards a greater purpose.

The conversation also emphasised the importance of creating a safe space where individuals can be authentic, disagree, invite difference and demand responsibility. This openness is a cornerstone of our network, allowing us to grow and learn together.

In the coming months, Class Representatives will meet quarterly to provide valuable feedback to ALI SA on ideas, challenges and feedback from Fellows. This regular engagement will ensure that the voices of our Fellows are heard and integrated into our strategy and initiatives.

As part of their commitment, Class Representatives will also work to revive their classes by arranging gatherings and reunions. They will play a crucial role in disseminating information from ALI SA about our strategy, direction, events, seminars, and dialogues. This will help keep all Fellows informed and connected, fostering a stronger sense of community across our network.

We are grateful for the dedication and leadership of our Class Representatives. Their efforts will undoubtedly strengthen the bonds within our fellowship and propel us towards achieving our shared vision of a more prosperous and equitable society.

Please reach out to your Class Representative or to the ALI SA office if you have any questions or ideas – we need your input on what we can do, to provide our fellowship of leaders with support, connections, seminars and to hold meaningful dialogues to create a better society.
