“History owes you nothing,” says ALI Fellow, Logan Wort. Click here to watch the full interview where he discusses his life experiences detailing his background as a young activist and his various encounters during the struggle days. Having been engaged all his life in the struggle for liberation movement, he believes today that all who were invested in the struggle are somewhat prisoners of that very history, as there’s a sense of entitlement to this history. However, this history was meant for future generations. According to Wort, the involvement in the struggle should not merit ownership of the future of this country or its leadership and governance. He said that the older generation has served its cause, but new blood needs to be provided the opportunity to lead this country.
