Yinka Yomi-Tokosi

Yinka Yomi‑Tokosi is a distinguished executive with nearly two decades of experience in the banking, manufacturing and entertainment sectors across Sub‑Saharan Africa and North America. She is Managing Executive: Strategy & Investments at Access Bank South Africa, part of the Access Bank Group, where she sits on the executive management committee and helps steer the bank’s strategic direction and long‑term vision, driving transformative growth, strategic acquisitions and positioning the bank as a leading industry challenger.​

Beyond this role, Yinka oversees corporate development and investment functions, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, strategic partnerships and sustainability and has a proven record of delivering strategic business transformation that enhances performance, reputation and influence in both developed and emerging markets.

She brings extensive expertise in investment banking, financial and strategic management across Africa’s leading markets and serves on the Board of Riggs Ventures West Africa and the Digital Economy & Financial Services Committee of the South Africa‑Nigeria Joint Ministerial Advisory Council on Industry, Trade & Investment.

A committed mentor, she supports early‑career women in finance and has helped build female‑focused talent pipelines across sectors.​

Yinka earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and holds an MBA from the University of Miami Herbert School of Business. She is an Aresty Scholar of the Wharton School of Business and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
