Thulani Shongwe is the Head of African Multilateral Cooperation at the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF). He is responsible for ATAF’s relationship with the African Union Commission and the policy organs focused on tax policy.
He is also the head of ATAF’s Delegation to the United Nations Committee of Experts on International Cooperation and the OECD Inclusive Framework. He is also part of the ATAF Executive Committee.
Before joining ATAF, Thulani worked for the South African Revenue Services, Nestle and Mafuri Mining Resources.
