Phindile is a Deputy Director-General of Learning and Professional Development at the National School of Government (NSG). She heads the branch responsible for the design, development and implementation of Education, Training and Development (ETD) interventions from Cadet to Executive levels across all spheres of government and organs of state.
She has nearly 20 years of experience in senior management roles in the public service, private sector and other organs of state. Her core expertise is in finance and has grown through the ranks working in different organisations. Phindile previously worked as a Chief Financial Officer at the NSG for 11 years where she succeeded in achieving clean audits. She is passionate about solving problems and has led initiatives to develop and implement innovative solutions to improve service delivery in the organisations she worked for. Phindile has a Masters in Development Policy and Practice that she obtained from the University of Cape Town’s Nelson Mandela School of Public Governance.
When she is not working tirelessly to equip government leaders with the skills they need to inspire and create meaningful change for public good, she serves her community as one of the church elders in her church. She is married and a devout mother and strives to have a good work/life balance.
