Patrice Rassou is the Chief Investment Officer at Ashburton Investments. He is responsible for the investment philosophy and investment process and manages key funds in the Ashburton portfolio. He is a seasoned investment professional with three decades of experience, having worked for some of the most reputable local asset management companies.
Patrice is a Chartered Accountant and holds a BSc(Econ) First Class Honours, MSc (Economics) from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He is a regular investment and markets commentator on television and radio and publishes a quarterly opinion piece in Business Day. Patrice is passionate about sustainable investing, with Ashburton Investments publishing its inaugural Report to Society last year.
Patrice also studies the impact of technology on the world of work and believes that this is key to help our continent grow its digital economy to fulfill its potential. Patrice is past treasurer of ABSIP Western Cape.
Patrice is married to Kim and the proud father of three boys and is a long-suffering Arsenal fan.
