Cobus van Wyngaard is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology at the University of South Africa and an ordained pastor in the inner city of Pretoria.
Cobus is a seasoned mediator as his work habitually seeks to straddle impossible divides. He is a white theologian engaging with black theologies of liberation. As an academic from the humanities, he is (surprisingly) involved in data analytics. Cobus’s working conditions in the inner city of Pretoria is in direct juxtaposition to the church environment dominated by the suburbs.
He is married and has three boys.
