Noluvo (Vovo) Ngcwabe is an Independent Executive consulting on Sustainable Development, Transformation and Empowerment, Enterprise And Supplier Development, and Social Entrepreneurship. Previously she was the Head of CSI and Stakeholder Management at Barloworld and Chairperson of Barloworld Siyakhula and enterprise and supplier development fund as well as Chairperson of the Barloworld Trust, a corporate social investment fund vehicle of Barloworld Group. She also sits on the Board of Barloworld Mbewu, a social entrepreneurship fund that focuses on the development of early-stage investments in businesses operating in South African townships, rural communities and other marginalised and underserved communities.
She holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria, Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS), a BA in Industrial Psychology from UNISA, a certificate in Social Entrepreneurship Programmes and a certificate in Leadership Development Programmes from GIBS. Vovo has held various portfolios within Barloworld and has experience in both public and private sectors, which includes work in the rest of Africa dealing with community development. Vovo is a Fellow of the Africa Leadership Institute and an Aspen Global Leadership Network member.
