Derrick Msibi is the managing director of Investment Solutions, an investment management firm that is a steward of R320bn of investments on behalf of medical aids, retirement funds, individuals, and corporations. Previously, he worked for Old Mutual for 12 years as a corporate finance analyst, portfolio manager, and executive director. Derrick is a director of a number of private sector ventures and serves on the board of TSIBA, a scholarships-only institution. His education qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance) Honours, BCom (Hons) MCom, and a CA (SA) designation. He also took part in the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School. Derrick is a Fellow of the eighth class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
