Mpadi Makgalo is the Founder and CEO of Harambe Advisory Services (HAS). Mpadi has over 18 years of experience in non-profit administration and planning, sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, public-private partnerships, business development and social impact. She provides strategic vision and leadership of Harambe’s innovated scalable solutions and oversees the corporate direction and strategy for Harambe’s national and global field operations, including, sales, consulting, marketing, and stakeholder management.
Before joining Harambe Mpadi held strategic leadership positions with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Futures Group International and Tshikululu Social Investments. Her board experience include serving on the following boards; Ubuhle Bezwe Health Services (Johannesburg, SA), Grace Foundation (Washington. USA), Mandela Scholarship Trust: University of Sussex (Brighton. UK) and the Women’s Theology Centre (Boston. USA).
She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology (Hons.) from Nipissing University (Canada), and Master’s Degree in Development Education from the University of Sussex (UK). She is a fellow of the African Leadership Initiative (Aspen Global Leadership Network) and a member of the African Leadership Network.
