Doris Tshepe

Managing Director, Cheadle, Thomson & Haysom

Doris Tshepe is a practising attorney at Cheadle Thompson Haysom Inc. She has been the managing director of the firm since 2006 and heads the commercial and communication law department. Over her 18 years of practice she has provided legal advice to a diverse range of clients in various fields, ranging from media and communications law, commercial and tax law, competition law and legislative and policy drafting. She is also an admitted conveyancer and notary public. She is a non-executive director of Transnet SOC (Ltd) where she chairs the Risk Committee. She is also a non-executive director of Boardroom Alliance (Pty) Ltd. Doris holds a B Proc degree from the University of Limpopo, a Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and a Masters in Tax Law (LLM) from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is married to Ngwako Maenetje and has three children, Keamogetswe, Tlou and Khashane. Doris is a Fellow of the ninth class of the Africa Leadership Intiatiave-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
