Charles Luyckx is the co-founder and co-catalyst of a number of leading South African nonprofit organisations such as FUEL (Feed, Uplift, Educate and Love), which is a leading NGO in education space. As a key support to the Department of Education, FUEL is responsible for helping to ensure that nine million learners across the country receive a balanced meal at school every morning of the school year.
Charles is also the co-founding director of Nando’s UK, which today employs over 17 000 people. He has also served as the director of other leading food service businesses in the UK, including PizzaExpress, GBK and others.
His life purpose is to make a meaningful and permanent contribution to the lives of the people of Southern Africa and is married with three beautiful daughters. He is a member of the third class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
