Mothomang Diaho is one of the founding members of TEACH South Africa. She is the Founder and Medical Director of the Lifestyle Clinics Spiral Aloe (Pty) Ltd, an organization dedicated to promoting lifestyle as the medicine. She has worked as a public Heath practitioner for more than 29 years. She has practiced medicine in various clinics and hospitals in Lesotho, Swaziland and South Africa. She has worked as a Senior Health Consultant in work covering countries such as South Africa, Lesotho, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana, Mozambique, Botswana and Swaziland. She is a guest Lecture at the Wits School of Public Health for the MPH Programme. She has taught at executive programmes with GIBS, Duke CE and USB-ED. She has worked as senior consultant at Health and Development Africa, Health and Development Africa, Abt Associates Inc., as head of the Accelerated Leadership Programme- ALDP- at SASOL; head of an HIV/AIDS programme at the United Nations Development Programme, UNDP and head of the Dialogue Programme at the Nelson Mandela Foundation.

During this time, she edited and published numerous booklets and a coffee table book, “The Promise of Leadership on matters of leadership involving some of the continents leading Statesman and Leading States Women (Paul Kagame-President of Rwanda, Uhuru Kenyatta, Then Prime Minister of Kenya, now President, Mrs Graca Machel, Dr Cheick Modibo Diarra who became President of Mali and many others). She convened various dialogues, spanning topics such as; Women in Leadership “Malibongwe Dialogues”, The role of Media in Health with Wits University, Prevention in health with various researchers, civil society organizations, business and UN agencies. She was responsible for the successful convening of the Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture for 5 years featuring global leaders (Kofi Annan, President Sirleaf, Mohammed Yunus, Ariel Dorfman, and Ismael Serageldin).

She has served as the first female chair of the St Stithian’s Boys College PTA, she is a board member at JHPIEGO, HRDI, and Tshikululu Social Investments and Chairman of TEACH South Africa.
