Gavin Yeats had his early upbringing in Lesotho and Zululand, where his family were traders. Schooled at Hilton College and DHS in Durban, he completed a BA degree majoring in English and History, followed by a Law degree at the University of Natal (Pietermaritzburg). Gavin is married to Penny Millsand has three children – Sarah, Julian and Samantha. Gavin enjoys reading and travel and is an avid, albeit poor, golfer and cyclist. He is a proud Fellow of the second class of the Africa Leadership Initiative-South Africa and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
Diverse business interests include involvement in renewable energy , resources , financial services , manufacturingand property holdings.
