It is with great pleasure to announce the first ALI SA Leadership Dialogue of 2017. This year, we’ll kick off by interrogating the state of higher education. We’ll be joined by none other than the Chairperson of NSFAS, Sizwe Nxasana to discuss how we can best transform higher education amidst the sporadic #FeesMustFall protests.

Date: Thursday, 16 February 2017
Time: 16h30 drinks and networking session. Dialogue will be from 17h00 – 20h00.
Topic: How we can transform higher education and create a conducive environment, both socially and financially, for learners to thrive.
Venue: Webber Wentzel, 90 Rivonia Rd, Sandton, Johannesburg, 2196, South Africa.

As indicated in our earlier communication on the Leadership Dialogue Series, participants are limited to 25. Consequently, we will be accepting Fellows on a first-come-first-served basis. Kindly register your wish to attend by sending an email to Ms. Chenai Chipfupa at chenai@alisa.co.za by no later than Friday, 10 February 2017. Kindly include “SIZWE” in the subject line of the email. We will then confirm you as an attendee by Monday, 13 February 2017.

Given the limited number of spaces, we would appreciate it if those who are selected do attend the event.

Book your seat!

The dialogue venue is made possible by Class IX: Tariro fellow Pulane Kingstone.

Thanks to our valued partners and to all the Fellows who continue to contribute in many ways.
