ALI SA is pleased to share the news of Fellow Reza Daniels‘ (Class IX: Tariro) recent appointment as the Dean of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences at Stellenbosch University, effective 1 November 2025.
Reza, who also directs the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit (SALDRU) at the University of Cape Town (UCT), brings considerable experience to this position. His expertise encompasses leadership in higher education, impactful research and valuable contributions to both the public and private sectors.
Reza’s appointment to this position is strongly aligned with Stellenbosch University’s Vision 2040, promising a substantial social and economic influence that extends throughout Africa and beyond.
