Shivani Ranchod

Co-founder and Strategic Advisor at Alignd and Professor of Practice at University of Johannesburg

Shivani is an emergent system strategist. Her work is on all things between connecting insights, people and resources between sectors, between disciplines and between siloed positionalities in a system.

She draws on wide-ranging experiences as an actuary, an academic, an entrepreneur, a meditator and a breathworker to re-imagine compassionate, integrated and whole ways of building institutions, ways of work, ways of stewarding and ways of organising care.

She is currently catalysing value-based solutions for maternal and kidney care at Alignd and collaborating with the University of Johannesburg in her capacity as Professor of Practice on generative, trauma-informed models for education.
