To our Nkikia,
It was just a few years ago, and it feels like three years ago, when we converged at ALI SA from various corners of our lovely country in search of a common goal – to improve our capability to better serve humanity. Our love for our country and the world was the driving force.
First feeling like strangers, we quickly bonded, found each other. We even discovered the inner selves we hardly knew we possessed as individuals. We assisted one another in that journey of self-discovery.
As we write to honour your memory, we are filled with a profound sense of loss and gratitude. You were not just a Fellow of Mayihlome (ALI Class V); you were a beacon of light, a pillar of strength, and a source of endless inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing you.
From the very beginning, it was clear that you embodied the essence of leadership that ALI strives to cultivate. Your commitment to excellence, your unwavering integrity, and your boundless compassion set you apart as a true leader and a remarkable human being.
Your passion for making a difference was evident in everything you did. Whether you were spearheading innovative projects, mentoring the next generation of leaders, or simply sharing your wisdom and kindness with those around you, you left a deep impression in our hearts and minds. You approached every challenge with a fearless spirit and an unshakeable belief in the power of positive change.
In our class, you were a cherished colleague, a trusted confidante, and a dear friend.
