Richard Manzini is a private equity professional with over 10 years’ experience in transaction structuring and professional deal-making across the investment process: from origination and harvesting the investee to exiting the transaction. Having worked closely with CEO’s and management teams to expand businesses, capture markets, and return growth to shareholders, he boasts transacting experience in Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Underpinning his work is a drive for impact and measurable socio-economic returns in the immediate surroundings of the business operations. He currently seats on serval boards as a non-executive director, chairing various sub-committees.
Richard holds several degrees, including a B.Bus.Sci (Finance Honours) (UCT), LLB (Unisa), MBA (Wits), MMFI (Wits), MSc (UP). He is a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors in South Africa (IoDSA). He also assists in the development of tertiary courses in finance.
Richard is a committed family man and an enthusiastic cyclist.
