Portia Bangerezako is a sustainability practitioner and has been in the field of environmental management and sustainability for over 20 years.
Having worked at the intersection of economical, environmental and social issues, she is always confounded at how we do not deal with the problems in a systematic way. Through this fellowship Portia hopes to make a difference in how we see and manage ourselves with a view of having a net positive effect. She hopes to drive our national systems – especially those pertaining to waste and water issues.
Portia holds a B Soc Sci from the University of KwaZulu Natal and has a Master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University.
